PMPT #11 , Mega Marvel

Over 400 players showed up for PMPT #11, bringing 84 different archetypes to the Mega Marvel event. With that many unique deck choices, the format was wide open, and the top tables would prove it. Seven rounds of Swiss play set up a competitive single-elimination cut.

Nabrix took down the whole field with Suicune ex Greninja ex, posting a stellar 12-2 finish. The top eight was a fascinating mix of strategies: Mega Altaria ex in multiple builds showed real staying power, while one-off archetypes like Greninja Oricorio and Magnezone Oricorio proved strong enough to make the cut. Essey's runner-up run with Mega Altaria ex Altaria included a draw, finishing 11-2-1.

Suicune ex Greninja ex was by far the most-played deck at 20.2% of the field, though it converted at just 50.3% win rate, right at average. Mega Altaria ex Indeedee ex was the real overperformer, hitting 56.3% despite being played by only 8.8% of the room. Decidueye ex Decidueye also punched hard at 59% win rate, while Jolteon ex Leafeon ex struggled at 41.2% and Hydreigon Mega Absol ex (the second most-played choice) sat at 46.7%.
