Four hundred twelve players and 80 different archetypes assembled for PMPT #12, the Mega Rising Finale. This event came with a twist: winners earned both the title and research materials to sharpen their game. Seven rounds of Swiss set the table for single-elimination drama.

The top eight placed Suicune ex Greninja ex (three pilots), while Mega Altaria variants and another Magnezone Oricorio pilot rounded out the cut. CreamyLotion and yayyare split second and third place with Suicune ex Greninja ex, posting 11-2-1 and 10-3 records respectively.

Suicune ex Greninja ex remained the most-played deck in the field deck at 18.2%, but Magnezone Oricorio was the standout result with 60.4% win rate, the highest mark in the meta. Decidueye ex Decidueye also performed well at 56.9%. On the flip side, Hydreigon Mega Absol ex and Mega Altaria ex Greninja both struggled, posting 43% and 42.9% win rates from significant play volume.
