PMPT #39 saw 279 competitors bring 85 different archetypes to battle, maintaining the healthy diversity of the meta. Seven rounds of Swiss play and a single-elimination top cut led to crowning a champion in pursuit of the $100 prize. The more compact field didn't diminish the level of competition or variety on display.

JLNG captured first with Greninja Mega Sableye ex, finishing Swiss 11-1-1 after a tight tournament run. Feyyzo's Mega Altaria ex Espeon showed resilience with a 10-3-0 record, claiming second place, while FrogEX | Joe's Zoroark ex Mega Absol ex locked in third at 9-2-1. This was a top cut where no undefeated records made it through, showing how competitive things were across the entire field.

Suicune ex Baxcalibur dominated as the most-played deck in the field deck with 28 pilots and a 10% meta share, and it backed that up with a solid 53.4% win rate. The real stars were Zoroark ex Mega Absol ex and Mega Lucario ex, which both posted 57%+ win rates despite lower pilot counts, proving their strength in capable hands. On the flip side, Mega Lucario ex Lucario, Greninja Mega Sableye ex, and Hydreigon Mega Sableye ex all underperformed relative to expectations.
